| Artist's Statement |
| My art is an interpretation of everything
I value, think, feel and find beautiful in my life's experiences. Basically
I am a dreamer, and a lover of fantasy, romance, adventure and nature,
most of which, in one way or another, is reflected in my work. Sometimes
I like to take a new look at an old subject....ie...The Carousel. Or
visualize a verbal statement...ie..."She's finally coming out of her
shell!"
Other inspiration comes from the songs I've been intimately involved with during my first 17 year career on stage as a singer & musician. I use a lot of mixed media including airbrush, watercolor, acrylic, ink, pencil, pastel and digital media. I like to experiment by combining textures to express a mood or disposition. I would describe my images as short stories of evolution, harmony and freedom of spirit. |
